Unsolicited concept notes

/Unsolicited concept notes

Concept notes act as a first selection among potential candidates. A concept note is of about 1500 words that gives an outline of a research idea, but is not a project proposal

Before approaching us, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with our approach and priorities. You can do this by reading the NTT website.

A concept note must address the following questions;

  1.  What is the problem for which you are seeking funding?
  2. Why is it important?
  3. What are the main objectives for your proposed activity?
  4.  How will your objectives be achieved?
  5. What are the expected outputs?
  6. What is the proposed timeline?
  7. What is the approximate budget?
  8. How can we contact you?

The concept note can be emailed to grant.applications@neelan.org

If your concept note has been accepted one of the members from our Programme team will get in touch about sending in a more comprehensive project proposal.
